Barefoot Technologies, a provider of browser-based reservation and asset management systems in the vacation rental industry, and Travel Guard North America, a leading provider of travel insurance plans and assistance services, have signed an agreement which makes XML integration available to Barefoot clients.
The XML platform will allow Barefoot to design and customize a specialized interface for non-website travel insurance sales.
Clients who take advantage of this opportunity will enjoy a simplified purchase process as well as real time, fully-monitored transactions and secure data transfers. Clients can then expect a higher degree of customer satisfaction as a direct result of improved customer service and more efficient claims handling. XML streamlines the travel insurance transaction and makes it easier to meet travelers’ ever-increasing demand for travel insurance coverage.
“I am extremely pleased to be partnering with Travel Guard,” says Ed Ulmer, Director of Business Development, Barefoot. “The rental software industry is all about being able to provide clients with the best solutions to give them the opportunity to improve their business. By partnering with Travel Guard, who has a lot of experience when it comes to travel insurance, we are doing exactly that.”
“Clients of Barefoot can now say they have it all,” said Tom Zavadsky, Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Travel Guard North America. “Along with some of the industry’s most reliable and innovative browser-based rental software, we’re helping them take an important step in their efforts to enhance customer service, improve operational efficiency and offer their guests an ‘everything covered’ vacation experience.”
